Student Coordinates Donation Drive

Members of Durham Intermediate School’s KC Club recently hosted a donation drive to raise money for The Red Cross.

The drive was an original idea by one of the students who wanted to help after seeing the devastation in the wake of Japan’s deadly earthquake and tsunami. In just six short days, Durham’s KC Club raised over $1,200.

The students decided as a group to donate the money entirely to The Red Cross so that the organization could spread the funds to victims of other recent natural disasters as well.
