Lady Dragon Golfers Finish Third At Region Tourney

The Carroll Lady Dragon golf team fell one position shy of a Class 5A state berth, finishing third last week at the 5A Region I Tournament in Lubbock. The Lady Dragons were led by Maddy Rayner, who finished with the two-day tournament total of 152 (75-77). Amanda Juntti was two strokes behind at 154 (79-75) and Emily Grabarkewitz ended at 155 (74-81). Allison Bock and Alex Celli rounded the top five tying at 157. Bock shot 83 and 74 and Celli shot 78 and 79.

Carroll shot 306 the first day as a team and 305 the second day.
