On Saturday July 14th, Southlake will host over 100 athletes from throughout the Metroplex for the 2nd annual Southlake Special Olympics Swim Meet. The event is being held at the Carroll Senior High School Aquatics Center from 8am-12 p.m. The meet is the result of a partnership between Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) and Southlake community service organization SASO.
SASO; Scholars and Athletes Serving Others, will have more than 60 high school boys volunteering at the event. The swimmers can look forward to a day of fun, food and competition.
The Southlake Kiwanis Club & Mister Softee, Texas will provide complementary lunch & Ice Cream for all the swimmers and their families.
