Carroll Robotics Teams Compete at Vex World Championships

The Carroll Robotics team competed last weekend in the Vex World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The Dragon teams were among the 500 to qualify out of approximately 14,000 teams worldwide.

Carroll Robotics team was awarded with the Amaze Award, which is presented for overall quality, including a robot with high-scoring design, solid mechanical construction, consistent and effective programming and teamwork.

ESPN2 will air a special presentation of the event July 20 at 8 p.m. central time and some of the Dragons students may be featured. Watch all the matches online here. The Carroll teams were 7110 Fired Up in the Science Division and 7110E in the Technology Division.
