Dragons Drop L.D. Bell for 9th Straight Victory

The Carroll Dragon baseball team kept its win streak alive Monday with a 6-1 victory against L.D. Bell.

It marked the Dragons ninth consecutive victory. The game was moved to Monday due to the inclement weather forecast for Tuesday. The Dragons improved to 18-6-1 overall and 9-2 in District 7-6A. Carroll has earned a playoff berth as the No. 2 district seed and finishes the regular season Friday at L.D. Bell.

Dragon right-hander Jason Small earned the victory allowing four hits in six innings. He had three strikeouts and didn’t allow a walk.

The Dragons had seven hits and outfielder Zach Farrar had a triple and RBI. Trevor Harris and Jake Murphy had two RBI apiece.
