The Carroll Lady Dragon softball team has a chance to share the District 7-6A title Friday night.
The Lady Dragons play at district-leading L.D. Bell at 7:15 p.m. With a victory, the Lady Dragons would finish as co-district champs and earn the No. 1 playoff seed in 7-6A due to a season sweep of L.D. Bell.
Carroll is riding an eight-game win streak and currently 20-9 overall and 9-2 in district. Bell is 10-1 in district. The Lady Dragons won the first meeting between the teams 4-1 at CSHS.
The showdown to finish the regular season was possible after Carroll defeated Haltom 12-5 on Thursday. McKenzie Schneider led the Lady Dragons with four hits, including two home runs and had five RBI. Pitcher Lauren Long earned the victory on the mound.
