New Safety Cameras Coming to Town Square

More security cameras will be coming to Town Square after the City Council recently approved the purchase and installation of 34 additional cameras. The new cameras will be found in both Town Square parking garages and in Town Hall.

“Our goal with this program is to ensure we have coverage of the parking garages to deter, detect, and solve criminal activity, said Police Chief Robert Finn. “We’ve seen a great deal of success so far, and the new cameras will only enhance those efforts.

Currently there are 58 cameras in Town Square monitored by Police Services. The additional cameras will cost $120,607.00 and are funded by the Southlake Crime Control and Prevention District.
