Applications Being Accepted For Shankman Scholarship

The Advanced Placement Boosters are sponsoring the Cheryl Shankman Study Abroad Scholarship to promote learning on a global level. Eligible students can earn a chance for a $500 scholarship to travel and study abroad through one of the many CISD-offered programs. This annual scholarship is in memory and honor of Cheryl Shankman, a parent, dedicated educational advocate, volunteer and past president of the AP Boosters Club. She loved to travel, experience other cultures, and challenge herself with continuous learning, both in and out of the classroom.

Applications are being accepted until Monday, Nov. 8. Consent forms and applications are available in the Carroll Senior High and Carroll High School guidance departments and on the Carroll AP Boosters web page at www.dragonap.org.
