Southlake Roundabouts Get Dressed Up

The city’s roundabouts are getting closer and closer to completion.  Here are the latest updates from the Public Works Department concerning the roundabouts at Carroll and Continental and White Chapel and Dove.

Carroll and Continental Roundabout Landscape Project

The project is complete.  The scope of the landscaping project consisted of installation of a stone retaining wall, apron widening, soil amendments, replacement of irrigation system, and installation of landscaping similar to that of the roundabout landscape projects at Dove and Carroll and Continental and White Chapel.  Accent boulders were added and rose spacing was increased from three feet to four feet.

White Chapel and Dove Roundabout Landscape Project

This project is awaiting a finalized contract with the landscaping company.  The project’s scope consists of installation of a stone retaining wall, soil amendments, new irrigation system, and landscaping similar to that of the Dove and Carroll roundabout landscape project.  This aspect of the project is scheduled for completion in November.  For more information on the White Chapel and Dove Roundabout please click here.
