On Saturday, October 30, S.W.A.T. – a grassroots movement of Southlake churches, businesses, organizations, and residents- will host its third community workday in Southlake. S.W.A..T. stands for Southlake Working as A Team. Since the August effort at the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve, many additional residents have expressed interest in helping with future events. On October 30, from 9 a.m. to noon, the organization will strike again at six Southlake locations!
The goal for each site is to provide basic landscaping improvements. This is a large undertaking, and S.W.A.T. needs many Southlake businesses, churches, organizations, and residents to come out and make this a special day for our City. Please mark your calendar for Saturday, October 30 from 9 a.m. to noon, sign up to work at a specific location online, and meet us there! If you know someone who might be interested in helping at this event, please click the forward to a friend link below.
