Carroll Mandarin Claims Karaoke Crown

Congratulations to the students of Mrs. Yushin Lee’s Mandarin Chinese class at Carroll High School. The students were just announced winners in an online karaoke contest!

The group submitted a video to the song “Fame Around the World”, singing and dancing to the music.

Out of 90 entries, the video was picked to be a finalist in the Cheng-Tsui Karaoke Superstar contest. Carroll’s video was then posted among other finalists and viewers were given the opportunity to vote for the best performance. Voting ended Sunday, Nov. 14 at midnight and Carroll received the most votes!
