Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake  Wins Trio of “Best” Awards

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake (THHMHS) has been named to three major “Best” workplace lists: Modern Healthcare magazine named THHMHS one of the country’s 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for the third consecutive year; THHMHS was also named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas, for the second consecutive year, in an awards program sponsored by TEXAS MONTHLY, the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group; and for the first time, THHMHS received the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare award, this one for a study conducted by Becker’s Hospital Review/Becker’s ASC Review magazines.

Southlake Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Members

The Gardner Institute Completes 10th Mindset for Success Program

The Gardner Institute, a certified life coach training company in Southlake, completed its 10th Mindset for Success program November 24, graduating 12 new coaches. The three-month life coach training program equips students with the fundamental skills, techniques and tools needed to launch a successful career as a business and life coach.

According to Dr. Jayne Gardner, founder of The Gardner Institute and life coach instructor, this was the largest and most diverse class to be enrolled in the Mindset for Success program, which is one of only two coach training programs in Texas to be accredited by the International Coach Federation.
