Friday, Dec. 3 all students at Johnson Elementary will participate in a school wide Act of Kindness. With the help of parents, high school PALS and community volunteers, students will build 125 bicycles to be given to children as part of Build A Bike Day for Spokes4Hope.
According to it’s website, Spokes4Hope is part of the Pro Players Foundation. Its mission is to help brighten the lives of children who are going through a difficult time. Spokes4Hope works with Childern Advocacy Centers across Texas that are dedicated to finding a more compassionate and effective way to bring services to children victimized by abuse.
This event was coordinated under Carroll ISD’s ongoing partnership with Rachel’s Challenge, an anti-bullying campaign created in the memory of Columbine High School shooting victim Rachel Scott.
