Big Friday For Dragon Teams

Friday night marks a big night for Carroll Dragon athletic teams…

Basketball: The boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are hosting “Green Out” night tonight at Carroll Senior High. Both teams have showdowns with rival Coppell in District 7-5A action. The Lady Dragons are in sole possession of first place and the Dragons are tied for second behind Coppell in the standings. The girls tipoff at 6 p.m. and the boys start at 7:30 p.m.

Swimming: The Dragons’ swimming and diving team competes in the District 6-5A swim meet Friday and Saturday at the Keller ISD Natatorium. The finals will be held Saturday.

Soccer: The Dragons are competing in a tournament in Round Rock. The Lady Dragons are playing Austin Westlake at 4 p.m. in the Governor’s Cup at Georgetown High School. The girls blanked Stony Point 9-0 on Thursday.
