Dragon Swimmers Excel In Final Dual Meet

The Carroll Dragons’ swimming and diving team competed in its final dual meet of the season last week on Senior Night.

The Dragons boys’ swimmers outscored St. Marks 205-89. The Lady Dragons were divided into two “matching” teams. Carroll Green defeated Carroll Black 135-132. The Dragons’ next competition will be Saturday, Jan. 29 in the District 6-5A championships at Keller ISD Natatorium. Carroll will be seeking its sixth consecutive district title.

Relay winners included:

Carroll Green 200 Medley Relay – 1:51.30 with Lyndsie Gibson, MacKenzie Leonard, Jillian Roberts and Emily Zapinski

Carroll Men “C” 200 Medley Relay – 1:43.82 with Christian Shannon, Brian Talbert, Curtis Goss and Kris Kolde

Carroll Green 200 Free Relay – 1:41.45 with Lyndsie Gibson, Jillian Roberts, Jennie Hall and Emily Zapinski

Carroll Men “A”  200 Free Relay – 1:33.22 with Ryan Walker, John Remetta, Soren Jacobson and Jeff Yglesias

Carroll Green 400 Free Relay – 3:37.54 with Alexa Baran, Jillian Roberts, Lyndsie Gibson and Emily Zapinski

Carroll Men “A”  400 Free Relay – 3:12.37 with Ted Singley, Ryan Walker, John Ausdenmoore and Curtis Goss
