Annual Band Bistro Serves Up Good Music, Food

The Carroll Band Boosters will host their 2011 Band Bistro on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Dinner from Pollenzo’s will be served from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Carroll High School SAC. Performances by the high school band students will run continuously from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

“The Bistro is a great event for families,” Event Coordinator Kirsten Golly said. “Because the atmosphere is very casual, parents can feel comfortable giving their younger children an opportunity to hear live music.”

The Bistro is the Carroll band’s only fundraising event and all proceeds help pay for essentials such as music arrangements, clinicians and guest musicians. No admission charge is required for the concert and silent auction. Tickets are required for dinner ($12 for adults and $8 for children 12 and younger) and will be available for purchase in late January through the Dragon Band website (carrolldragonband.org).
