Alicia Richardson Named Southlake City Secretary

By a unanimous 5-0 vote, Alicia Richardson was named Southlake’s City Secretary by the Southlake City Council.

“We are pleased to name Alicia as the City Secretary,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura K. Hill.  “Her experience and her enthusiasm for her position made her a natural choice.”

Formerly the City Secretary in Highland Village, Richardson comes to Southlake with more than 12 years of local government experience.  Prior to her tenure in Highland Village, she was Assistant City Secretary in the City of North Richland Hills.

Richardson will serve as secretary for Southlake’s Mayor and City Council, responsible for coordinating their activities with other departments and outside agencies.  She will also oversee a staff of three, the activities and operations of the City Secretary Department, and provide administrative support to the City Manager, the Mayor, and City Council.

“I am excited to be part of the City of Southlake family,” said Richardson.  “The City Council has a vision for this special place, and I’m thrilled to work with them as those visions become reality.”
