The City of Southlake opened today at 8:00 a.m.  Public Works crews have been working since early this morning to help keep Southlake’s roads safe.  Between 50 and 100 tons of sand has been laid down to help provide traction.

While some roads are clearing up, others still have significant ice patches.  Southlake DPS is urging everyone to use caution especially this evening when night temperatures are expected to dip into the teens.

Duncan Disposal will notify the City early tomorrow morning regarding Thursday pickup.  Their decision to pickup will depend on road conditions and Duncan’s ability to pick up safely in Southlake’s neighborhoods.
