Garbage and Recycling Pickup

Duncan Disposal has notified the City that they will not be running service on Thursday, February 3, 2011. The city will continue to work with Duncan about re-establishing service.  Refer to www.MySouthlakeNews.com for the latest updates on Garbage and Recycling pickup.

Frozen Pipes

The City has received many phone calls about frozen pipes.  Currently the City is not experiencing any City water main issues.

According to the Public Works Department, if you have exposed water pipes leading to your home it would not hurt to protect them with a covering.  Also homeowners might want to keep one faucet consistently dripping water to help prevent water from freezing inside the pipes.

Natural Gas

Southlake and other cities have received calls concerning natural gas pressure problems.  The City was provided a press release explaining the current situation.  If you are having natural gas problems call ATMOS : 1-888-286-6700.
