- DFW Connector – Full Highway Closure – Starting 2/18

Beginning Friday, February 18, 2011 at 8:00 p.m., the William D. Tate bridge as well as both eastbound and westbound main lanes of State Highway 114 will be closed to all traffic until 9:00 a.m., Saturday morning.
The main lanes of S.H. 114 and William D. Tate will be reopened during the daylight hours of Saturday. These same road closures will occur again during the same hours on Saturday evening (2/19) and again on Sunday evening (2/20).
Once demolition of the east side of the bridge is complete, there will be five lanes on the William D. Tate Bridge. This is the first step of the process in removing and reconstructing the William D. Tate Ave bridge. During these road closures, the east side of the bridge will be removed.
