The Carroll Lady Dragons are living by the comeback in the Class 5A playoffs. For the second time in the postseason, the Lady Dragons produced a dramatic come-from-behind victory to advance to the Region I quarterfinals.
Carroll (29-6) rallied to defeat Colleyville Heritage 49-45 Thursday night at Richland High School. The Lady Dragons were led by Kayla Reinhart’s 16 points and Sierra Maykus added 10. Carroll overcame an 11-2 deficit after the first quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Dragons outscored Colleyville Heritage 21-12.
Carroll advances to meet the Duncanville next week.
