Festival Gives Dragon Jazz

Carroll ISD Jazz Bands I and II took home top honors at the UT Arlington Jazz Festival Friday, Mar. 4, 2011. The annual event was held inside the Hereford University Center on the UTA campus. Jazz Band I won first place in the 5A category and Jazz Band II won first place in the 5A/ 2nd Band category. The judges also awarded Jazz Band I the Sweepstakes Trophy for outstanding band of the festival.

This was the 37th UT Arlington Jazz Festival.
