Information provided by Children’s Medical Center
Children’s Medical Center recently opened its pediatric specialty care center in the Southlake community. The temporary facility will offer immediate access to pediatric sub-specialties and diagnostic and testing services.
Services currently available at this location include: cardiology, endocrinology, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, plastic/craniofacial surgery, psychiatry, psychology, pulmonology, rheumatology, urology and cardiac ECHO and EKG testing.
The permanent Southlake location will open in June 2011 on State Highway 114 between White Chapel and Carroll Avenue. It will offer expanded specialties, outpatient surgery, lab and radiology services as well as a family resource center.
Children’s Medical Center provided care for more than 500 children from Southlake in 2009 and anticipates that number to grow rapidly with a locally based care center.
