The Carroll Lady Dragons are making a strong impression at the start of District 7-5A play.
Carroll is 4-1 in district, including three consecutive victories against Northwest, Coppell and Keller Central. The Lady Dragons knocked off rival Coppell in nine innings 4-3. Carroll produced 14 hits (led by Julia Colman’s 4-for-5 performance) and have won three of its last four games by one run.
This week the Dragons are in action Tuesday at Saginaw (7 p.m.) and Friday at home against Denton Guyer (7 p.m.). Carroll’s overall record is 11-11.
