Carroll Lady Dragons basketball coach Teri Morrison is adding another distinguished honor to her resume.

Morrison will serve as an assistant coach in the McDonald’s All-American Game in Chicago, Wednesday, March 30. To celebrate her selection, McDonald’s will host a pep rally for her and boys’ participant Dallas Lincoln star LeBryan Nash at the McDonald’s, located at 225 Kimball Avenue, in Southlake on Monday, March 21 at 7 p.m.

“Being selected to be part of the coaching staff for the McDonald’s All-American game is very rewarding,” said Morrison, in her second year at Carroll. “I have been fortunate in my coaching career to experience wonderful games, championships, and players.  I hope to gain more experiences from this week of elite basketball and bring back new ideas for our community of Lady Dragon basketball fans and players.”

The event will serve as a pep rally for the members of the prestigious game and Lady Dragons’ players and Morrison’s Carroll staff will attend. Morrison led the Lady Dragons to the Class 5A Region I quarterfinals this season and a 29-7 record which included the District 7-5A championship.
