Boys Earn Undefeated Regular Season; Coach Gains Milestone

The Carroll Dragons captured history Tuesday night against Denton Guyer. With a 3-1 victory on the road, the Dragons completed the first undefeated regular and district season in school history. In addition, the Dragons helped coach Greg Oglesby earn his 400th career victory. Carroll is 21-0-3 and went 14-0 in District 7-5A. The Dragons are currently the No. 1-ranked team in the state and No. 2 in the nation by ESPN Rise…Carroll advances to the playoffs and will meet Marcus on Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. at Denton High School…Leading scorer Mac McGuire had two goals Tuesday night and Jake Brillhart added one.

 

Girls Cap Season With Shutout

The Lady Dragons capped their impressive season with a 4-0 victory Tuesday on Senior Night against Denton Guyer. Goals were scored by Julia Dyche, Sophie Groff, Lissi Lonsberry and Taylor Schneider…Carroll finished the regular season 20-4-2 and 11-3 in the District 7-5A to finish second and now prepares for the playoffs. The game time and site is still to be determined.
