Boys Stay Undefeated, Clinch 7-5A Title

The Dragons, the No. 1-ranked team in the state by ESPN Rise and No. 2 nationally, clinched the District 7-5A title and is currently 20-0-3 on the season and 13-0 in 7-5A. The Dragons’ last three victories included upending rival Coppell 1-0, Keller Central 1-0 and Saginaw 6-1 on Senior Night on March 18…Mac McGuire leads the Dragons with 31 goals and 18 assists…Carroll has produced 17 shutouts this season and allowed just six goals all year…The Dragons end the regular season at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 vs. Denton Guyer at Denton Guyer High School…The Dragons are seeking a historical finish to the regular season. With a victory, Carroll clinches the first undefeated regular season and district season in school history. Also, coach Greg Oglesby is seeking his 400th career victory against Guyer.

 

Lady Dragons Host Senior Night Tuesday

The Carroll Lady Dragons are in second place in District 7-5A and gearing for the playoffs. Carroll will end the regular season with Senior Night on Tuesday, March 22 at Dragon Stadium vs. Denton Guyer. The Lady Dragons are 19-4-2 overall and 10-3 in district behind leader Coppell…Sophie Groff leads the Lady Dragons with 18 goals and 11 assists.
