This is the first year Carroll painting students will auction their final painting. In prior years, the Carroll Education Foundation chose from final works to be used for marketing the Culinary Event. The Culinary Event is CEF’s annual fundraiser held every October. Since 2006, the CEF has distributed over $800,000 in grants to Carroll Independent School District. The CEF award a $1,000 scholarship to a student selected for their painting. In addition this year, the Association of Texas Professional Educators will be selecting one painting for purchase and giving the student a $500 scholarship.
