Come Sign The CMS Gym Floor

All students who live north of FM 1709 who have attended, are attending or will be attending Carroll Middle School are invited to stop by the new middle school building for a gymnasium floor signing activity between 5 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26.

The new school is currently under construction and will open to seventh and eighth graders in August 2011. School officials say the rest of the building is not yet ready for public tours, but Principal Matt Miller would like to offer former, current and future CMS students an opportunity to be a part of the new building’s history.

Those who wish to participate should park in the front of the building in the parking lot, located at 1800 East Kirkwood Boulevard (just north of the Gateway Church building). Come into the front entrance and turn right to enter the gymnasium area.

Representatives from the CMS staff will be on hand to provide a Sharpie marker and instructions to sign your name on the slab of the gymnasium foundation before the flooring project is completed.

This is a come and go activity open to all former, current and future CMS students!
