Progress continues on one of the City’s road improvement projects. The utility companies have been working over the last several months to relocate gas, electric, cable, fiber optics, and other utilities to allow room for the roadway contractor to begin installing permanent improvements.
Oncor has completed setting new poles on the east side of Kimball up to the city limit line. The city’s contractor, Ed Bell, has been installing new waterlines, storm drains, and constructing retaining walls.
Drivers should expect temporary lane closures with flagmen directing traffic, as needed, during construction. For additional information on this project, please visit the projects webpage on the City’s website at www.cityofsouthlake.com/cityconstruction.
