Lady Dragon Golfers Finish 3rd At Regional

The Carroll Lady Dragons’ golf team finished third at the Class 5A Region I tournament Monday-Tuesday in Lubbock. Carroll needed to finish in the top two team positions to advance to the state tournament in Austin. Allen High School earned the Region I title and El Paso Eastwood was second, four strokes ahead of the Lady Dragons.

Kailey Glenn was the Lady Dragons’ top finisher with rounds of 75-77 (152) and tied for 10th overall. The Lady Dragons’ top five also included Allison Bock, Alex Celli, Adriana Morillo and Emily Grabarkewitz.
