Lady Dragons Playoff-Bound, Face Marcus

The Carroll Lady Dragons softball team is getting geared for the state playoffs. The Lady Dragons had an outstanding regular season which included finishing third in District 7-5A. Carroll overcame a tough season a year ago and is now bound for the bi-district playoff round.

The Lady Dragons, who finished 15-11 overall and 10-4 in district, will face the Marcus Lady Marauders in the first round. Marcus finished second in District 8-5A and is 17-11-1. The game date, time and site is still to be determined.

Carroll’s turnaround this year including finishing behind only Keller and Denton Guyer in district a year after finishing near the bottom of District 6-5A. Stay posted to MySouthlakeNews.com for playoff updates.
