Singles Players Qualify For State Tourney

Two members of the Carroll tennis team are bound for the Class 5A State Tournament in Austin.

Singles players Austin McCasin and Kelley Anderson both qualified for the state competition by each finishing in second place at the 5A Region I tournament in Lubbock.

McCasin is a junior and Anderson is a freshman. Both players are the No. 1 singles player in boys and girls at Carroll. The state tournament will be held Monday-Tuesday, May 9-10 at the University of Texas’ Penick-Allison Tennis Center.
