Dragon Swimmers Receive Championship Rings

The Carroll Dragon swimming and diving team held a special ceremony last Friday at the CISD Aquatics Center. It was time to hand out the new jewelry.

Coach Kevin Murphy passed out the shiny new memory from the Class 5A state swimming and diving state championships. The title rings were distributed individually to members of the team as family, friends and the Lady Dragons’ swimming and diving team attended the event.

The Dragons claimed their first 5A championship and returned to the top of the podium for the first time since winning the 4A title in the 2000-2001 school year.
