City Briefs for the Week of June 27

Monday, June 27– The Southlake Program for the Involvement of Neighborhoods (S.P.I.N.) will meet at 6:00 p.m. in Town Hall. The Planning & Development Services department will make a presentation and receive feedback on the proposed F.M. 1709 and F.M. 1938 Corridor Plan, a component of the Southlake 2030 Land Use Plan.  For the agenda to this and other meetings, please click here.

Thursday, June 30 – The Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. For the agenda to this and other meetings, please click here.

Sunday, July 3 – Stars and Stripes, the annual Independence Day celebration hosted by the City of Southlake and Southlake Town Square Event will take place from 6:00-11:00 p.m. in Town Square. Monday, July 4 – The City of Southlake offices and the Library will be closed in observance of Fourth of July. Emergency services are not affected by the holiday. Garbage and recycling collections will be delayed by one day.  Monday collections will be picked up on Tuesday, July 5; Tuesday collections will be picked up on Wednesday, July 6.  If you have questions about Duncan’s service please call Duncan Disposal Customer Service at (817) 317-2424. City offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5. The Library will reopen at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday, July 5.
