Carroll School Board members met during a special meeting Wednesday to consider several personnel-related issues before the 45-day resignation deadline for certified employees in Texas. The Board approved the hiring of nine, classroom teachers district-wide and one assistant principal for Old Union Elementary School. However, the Board briefly discussed the possibility of granting permanent hiring authority to the Superintendent. They will consider an agenda item to review the related policies in September.
