Osborne Named New Girls' Track Coach

Carroll ISD has hired Renae Osborne as the new Dragon varsity girls’ head track coach.

Osborne has been with the district since 1999 as a teacher/coach at Dawson Middle School and campus athletic coordinator the last four years. Osborne will continue to coach volleyball, teach and serve as athletic coordinator at DMS and will travel to CSHS in the afternoons for girls’ track. She has 26 years of coaching experience and replaces Miranda Wilson, who was the head coach the past three years.

“I am excited about the potential success that lies within our girls’ track program and we believe that Renae Osborne is the right leader to bring the potential out in our student-athletes,” Carroll athletic director Kevin Ozee said. “Coach Osborne’s enthusiasm, organization and leadership skills will make for a smooth transition and will create a championship atmosphere fro the girls’ track program.”
