On Saturday July 16th Southlake will host over 180 athletes from throughout the Metroplex for the first Southlake Special Olympics Swim Meet. The event is being held at the Carroll Senior High School Aquatics Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Meet is the result of a partnership between Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) and Scholars and Athletes Serving Others (SAS), a Southlake community service organization. SASO will have over 90 high school boys volunteering at the event.
The swimmers can look forward to a day of fun, food and competition. The Southlake Kiwanis Club will be providing complementary lunch for all the swimmers and their families.
