Southlake Town Square announced today that over 20 Southlake shops will participate in the national Fashion’s Night Out 2011 on Thursday, September 8 from 6 p.m. -11 p.m. as part of the collaborated efforts of Vogue Magazine and cities across the country, who are coming together and simultaneously celebrating fashion. The fashion celebration and shopping evening will include special in-store events, live music, informal modeling, makeovers, red carpet events, food, drinks, live entertainment and special guests.
Fashion’s Night Out was started in 2008 when the City of New York partnered with Vogue Magazine to promote and re-energize shopping in an effort to restore consumer confidence. The event was highly successful and was celebrated and supported by celebrities, designers, and retailers throughout New York City. In 2010, the event went global and is now celebrated in cities across the world.
“This is an opportunity for customers to have a free, fun and interactive evening with the girls, hubby or just by themselves and have a great time enjoying their favorite store, and learning all about the current season’s fashions and trends ,” said Karla Chase, marketing director for Southlake. She added that details of a fashion contest utilizing the Fashion’s Night Out Facebook page are still being finalized and will be announced soon.
Participating stores will include Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, American Eagle, Malouf’s, Tyler’s, Charisma Boutique, Charming Charlie, Eddie Bauer, J. CREW, Vera Bradley, Everything But Water, Rock Revolt, Brooks Brothers, Chico’s, Sephora, Cache, White House/Black Market, Christopher & Bank, The Container Store and the newly opened Bag n’ Baggage.
