Since March 2006, Southlake Style magazine has been covering the City’s events, news, happenings and leaders. From the Carroll Dragons and City Council elections to new restaurants and community events, Southlake Style has become a must-read for Southlake residents and business owners.
What started as husband and wife team, Mike and Nicole Tesoriero, has grown to include seven staff members and an additional bi-monthly publication, N.E.T Business Resource. As such, they have outgrown their current leased office space in Charleston Court near Dragon Stadium and have purchased a building in Miron Grove Office Park. They will officially relocate the magazine’s headquarters August 29.
According to Publisher Mike Tesoriero, they needed more room to breathe and the time was right to purchase an office building.
“We have experienced continued success and growth from our first issues of 2006. Even though many publishers fell on tough times, we have been able to put forth a product that readers enjoy and sponsors benefit from,” he says. “After more than five years in print and three years in our current space, we needed a little extra room. Also, the recent declines in the prices of commercial real estate allowed us to make the most of the current marketplace.”
Since the building is brand new, the Tesorieros will not be making any physical changes, but plan to keep the creative juices flowing with a fun color scheme and new furniture. In addition, they are wiring the building for technology, but are disappointed Verizon FIOS is not available.
“Nicole and I live in Southlake, started our family and our business here six years ago. With the purchase of this office building Southlake Style has a true home here, too,” Tesoriero adds. “With this purchase, we are proud to become an even stronger part of the community and the local economy.”
The new address for Southlake Style and N.E.T. Business Resource is 260 Miron Drive, Southlake, TX, 76092.
