Back by overwhelming requests is Buddy Knight who will return Sept. 27 to Southlake to present a program on Kids & The Internet.
The two-hour event, hosted by Students and Parents Against Risk to Kids (SPARK), the City of Southlake and Carroll Independent School District, will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. This presentation is for adults only, no children or students please.
The seminar will be located at Southlake Baptist Church, which is leasing space in the former Carroll Intermediate School building, 1101 N. Carroll Avenue. The program is designed to educate parents about the dangers to our families posed by Internet explicit content and online predators. This free event will help equip parents to effectively protect and parent children in the Internet Age.
