The Southlake Public Library will be upgrading its automated checkout system on Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16. This system upgrade will allow the library staff to create more efficient work flows and will also allow the development of an app that will provide easier, mobile access to customers wishing to place renew or hold materials.
There will be no remote access during this two-day period. Additionally, all checkouts, check-ins, and hold requests will be done manually and will not appear in the system until the evening of Saturday, September 17. The library will create signage indicating that the upgrade will be occurring and the limitations that will put on our ability to deliver service for that two day period.
Nonetheless, the library will remain open during this period. Customers may contact the library or City Librarian, Kerry McGeath at (817) 748- 8384 with any issues or concerns. Staff may also be contacted via the contact information listed in the City’s official Library webpage, shown here.
