Forensics Members Advance

Carroll Juniors, Nick Lowrimore and Megan Schippmann, as well as Senior, Timothy Dominguez, qualified for the Tournament of Champions at the University of Kentucky by reaching the finals of Congressional Debate.

At the 23rd Annual Grapevine Classic held September 9-10 at Grapevine High School, Nick placed seventh, Tim placed fourth and Megan placed second. Nick Lowrimore also placed third in U.S. Extemporaneous Speaking and Timothy Dominguez placed second.

The Grapevine Classis is a Quarter-Finals qualifier for the National Tournament of Champions. The National Tournament of Champions is a high school debate held annually at the University of Kentucky on the first weekend of May. To learn more about the Tournament of Champions, click here.
