Dragon Football Artifcacts Featured In Austin Museum

Carroll Dragon football history is being showcased in Austin.

The Bob Bullock Museum is currently featuring an exhibit “Texas High School Football More Than The Game.” The special exhibit opened July 30 and remains open through Jan. 22, 2012. It features a wide variety of artifacts from schools across the state and the Dragons have a distinct presence in the museum.

The former scoreboard at Dragon Stadium is on display as well as one of the stadium’s menu boards, which highlights the unique item of sushi.

Admission to the exhibit is $9 for adults, $8 for college students, $7 for seniors/military, $6 for ages 4-17 and three and under are free. The museum is located at 1800 N. Congress Avenue at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. For more information, call (512) 936-4649.
