Help update the City’s Master Plan for a better tomorrow

The City’s Planning Department would like to invite the public to get involved in efforts to update the City’s comprehensive master plan, known as the Southlake 2030 Plan.  Every five years, the City’s master plan is updated to better reflect the values of the community, and guide long-term development and growth in Southlake.

A list of upcoming meetings related to the Southlake 2030 plan is found below. All Southlake 2030 committee meetings are open to the public. Planning staff will also be available at these meetings to answer questions from the public.  For more information about upcoming meetings or the City’s comprehensive plan, please visit www.Southlake2030.com.

Arts Master Plan Committee Meeting

Date & Time: Thursday, October 6 at 4:30 PM

Location: 3rd Floor Training Room 3D in Town Hall (1400 Main Street)

Purpose:  The Arts Master Plan Committee will meet to discuss the Public Arts Master Planning process, survey and benchmark findings and to review the Draft Master Arts Plan which includes project recommendations, policy recommendations and the proposed timeline.

Parks, Recreation and Open Space / Community Facilities Plan Committee Meeting

Date & Time: Monday, October 10 at 5:00 PM

Location: 3rd Floor Training Rooms in Town Hall (1400 Main Street)

Purpose: The primary purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the park assessment standards.

Southlake 2030 Land Use Committee Meeting

Date & Time: Wednesday, October 19 at 5:00 PM

Location: 3rd Floor Training Rooms in Town Hall (1400 Main Street)

Purpose: The purpose of this meeting will be to review recommendations regarding hotels and to finalize the land use recommendations for the S.H. 114 Corridor Plan.
