Red Ribbon Week Events

Eubanks Intermediate School kicks off this year’s Red Ribbon Week (October 24-28, 2011) with a school wide assembly. The program “Stand Together” is an interactive motivational production featuring pop culture anti-bullying messages on three large screens. The EIS PTO is coordinating the event.

Each day of Red Ribbon Week has a designated message and dress up theme. Students are encouraged to dress up and participation is optional. Click here to see a list of designated dress up days.

In addition to dressing up, each homeroom class at EIS will participate in an act of service to others in honor of “Maggie Lee for Good Day”. On Thursday, October 27, 2011 the EIS 5th Grade Blue Betta Team will give goodie bags to members of Southlake’s police and fire departments as well as EMTs (photo, right).

Parents are also encouraged to provide the school with a photo of their child for the EIS “Change Begins with Me Wall”. This bulletin board serves as a place to “brag” on students who have been active serving the community.
