One Week Remains in Bicentennial Park Scavenger Hunt

Now that the weather has finally cooled down a bit we want to encourage everyone to go outside and enjoy the beautiful new additions to Bicentennial Park!

The best way to see all the new improvements and special features is to complete the Bicentennial Park Scavenger Hunt. You will have to use your detective skills, quick wit, and careful observations as you canvass the park to discover the answers to the scavenger hunt questions.

The scavenger hunt is a great activity for the whole family as everyone will have to go outdoors and work together to complete the hunt. Plus, each correct entry has the opportunity to win one of several cool prizes! All correct entrees will be placed in a drawing for one of seven different prizes including Starbucks coffee, gift cards to local Southlake businesses, and Six Flags tickets. Winners will be announced at the Parks and Recreation Board meeting November 8, 2011 and answers to the hunt will be posted on the website at that time.

There is still one week remaining in the Bicentennial Park Scavenger Hunt so be sure to submit your answers by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011!
