Transition Services Presents: College and Career Expo

The Carroll ISD Special Education Department is hosting their annual College and Career Transition Expo on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The expo will be held at Carroll Senior High School from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

This program will help high school students with learning differences learn about colleges, application process, career opportunities, department of disabilities services and transition needs when pursuing post secondary education.

The program’s guest speaker will be Ron Venable, M.A. Director, Office of Disability Accomodation University of North Texas. Carroll ISD counselors and diagnosticians will also be available to meet with students and parents during the event. This is the sixth year for the expo.

The University of North Texas, The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas Women’s University, Northlake Community College, Tarrant County College District ART Institute of Dallas and Timarron College Preparatory are just a few of the schools participating in the Expo.
