Southlake To Wrap Up Citizen Survey on Dec. 18

The 2011 edition of the City of Southlake Citizen Survey will soon draw to a close with Sunday, December 18th being the last day for Southlake residents to participate.

The biennial survey is a critical piece of the strategic planning process of the city.  It allows the City Council and administrators to measure citizen satisfaction levels with city services and gather opinions on specific policy questions.  The results are used to prioritize capital improvement decisions, improve the quality of customer service, or focus efforts on a particular issue that residents find important.

“It’s an opportunity for individual citizens to voice what is important to them,” said Assistant to the City Manager Alison Ortowski.  “We are incredibly thankful for those who have participated so far,” she continued.  “The Councilmembers and City staff are looking forward to viewing the results and incorporating the great suggestions into our future work plans.”

Results for the 2011 Citizen Survey will be published in February.  To participate in the survey please visit www.cityofsouthlake.com/citizensurvey.
