Carroll Elementary School Has Holiday Heart

Over the recent holiday season, Nearly 100 Carroll Elementary School families participated in adopting 150 angels through the Christmas is for Children program.  Two local charitable agencies received gifts from the school.

“A Lift for Life” is an after school program for children in Oak Cliff.  Most of these students are from single parent households with the parent working outside of the home.  The other agency that received donations was “Haltom City Kids”. This organization benefits families greatly affected by the spring flooding in Fort Worth.  In fact most of the families were forced from their homes.

Christmas is for Children is celebrating its 20th year of making a difference in the life of a child. CISD schools and some local businesses participate in the program.  Over 1,100 angels were adopted area wide.
